If you look closely you'll realize something is not right. Do you see it? If you think this is a beach, you're correct; and if you know this is not a beach, you are correct too. It's a fake beach built in the Old Montreal district, giving the city goers a place to get-away momentarily and a place where they can go get a quickie— a quick relaxation on the sand that is. Aside from the absurd $6 (plus tax) entrance fee, it is quite a calm and pretty place to go when you desire to sink your feet in sand and close your eyes and imagine the blue water and Caribbeans. Inspired by Paris's own, Montreal chose to go down the same route, except Paris doesn't charge.Labels
