----- So Good I Want Seconds -----
Recent issue of IDN—International Design Network—covers minimalism design. It is dream galore for me. My favorite style is minimalism. 1960s. Scandinavian. De Stijl. Swiss Style. You name it. I should be wearing a bib as I read page after page as my drool cannot contain itself in my mouth. Along with it, comes an indescribable blissful feeling that takes over my body when I see powerful, inspirational designs. It's like watching the Food Network. The food ecstasy that you consume with your eyes. Yes, I get high on food porn and design porn.
What I really love in every issue of IDN is the way they set a standard that says: layout design does not equal grid system; always think outside the grid system. The method they use to juxtapose certain elements together looks effortlessly done. It's like a fashionista who purchased really questionable pieces, but once worn together, they JUST fit. Which makes this magazine worth every penny of its 19$. It's not just a magazine; it's also a craft.
